21cMusician toolkit: the November edition Welcome to YCAT’s 21cMusician toolkit: a series of interviews, tutorials, videos, blogs and live events, each with a different monthly focus, to help kickstart your career as a musician. Brimming with ideas for creative projects, but not sure where to start? In this month's edition of the 21cMusician Toolkit, we take inspiration from musicians who have created new ensembles and festivals, and reached new audiences through re-imagining the concert experience. On Thursday 19 November, 4 - 5.30pm, join arts entrepreneur David Taylor in discussion with prominent musicians who have founded their own ensembles and festivals. Violinist Rakhi Singh and cellist Adam Szabo (Manchester Collective), pianist Alasdair Hogarth (The Prince Consort), and violinist Marije Johnston (Navarra String Quartet, Weesp Chamber Music Festival) will share the thrills and frustrations of getting new initiatives off the ground, and some of the tips they have picked up along the way.
