Mike joined Morgan Stanley after graduation from Cambridge University in 2006. He began his career in the Prime Brokerage team of Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equities division, working in a number of roles which involved lending both cash and securities products to London’s large and varied Hedge Fund community.

In 2010 Mike took up a new role within Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income division as a currency sales-trader, helping some of the world’s largest Hedge Funds trade currency products. He currently runs the London based “Flow” desk within the division, servicing an international client base of hundreds of Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Bank and Broker Dealers dealing currency products with the bank.

Since 2008, Mike has been the Chair of Morgan Stanley’s EMEA based Pride & Ally Network, aimed at LGBT employees of the firm. Between 2010 and 2013 he was also Co-Chair of the London-based Interbank LGBT Forum. In his spare time Mike enjoys music and is a very competent musician, playing piano to a high standard, training as a tenor, and singing with the Morgan Stanley Choir
