Website and wordpress basics 2. Domain names, suppliers and purchasing 3. WordPress themes and suppliers 4. WordPress / domain implementation 5. Customisation and maintenance 6. Google analytics integration and monitoring. 7. Design good practice 8. Search Engine Optimisation Other questions to be discussed during the session include – Do I need a website? – Should I build my own, or should someone do it for me? – How much should it cost? – How much time should I spend maintaining it? – What should I include / not include (concert listings/audio visual materials etc)? – What has the best visual impact / what really annoys people on websites? – What are the best platforms for audio visual materials? – How do I optimise my website for mobile? – What personal details should be on my website? You will then be invited to discuss your own individual problems with your website and work together to find solutions.
