News YCAT 2024 Auditions Now Open! Applications for the annual Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) Auditions are now open! The deadline for applications and video submissions is Friday 1 March 2024 at 11:59pm. At an exciting time for YCAT ahead of our 40th anniversary, which we’ll be celebrating throughout the 2024-25 season, we can’t wait to hear from young classical musicians at the start of their careers! For 40 years, YCAT has been at the forefront of discovering, nurturing and supporting extraordinary early-career professionals, easing their transition from talented students to accomplished performers. Our work plays a vital role in the world of classical music, developing important artistic careers that continue to thrive, inspire and bring joy to audiences around the world. Selected artists will receive: Management - 3-5 years of developmental and holistic management Performance - Strategic diary of engagements secured worldwide (selected joint artists, in collaboration with Concert Artists Guild) Exposure - Regular marketing to 5,000+ promoters and concert halls worldwide Branding - High-quality publicity materials and professional photo shoots Digital - Comprehensive social media and website consultation and support Media - Live recordings of recitals at Wigmore Hall Applications are submitted via Muvac this year - a free online platform gathering cultural institutions and musicians across the world.
