Coaching

YCAT coaching sessions provide a unique opportunity for you to explore a range of ideas, skills, and concerns relevant to life as a 21cMusician.

How it works

  • Each coaching session addresses a different career-related theme.

  • Small groups to encourage focused discussion within a friendly and supportive environment.

  • Sessions are designed for classical musicians between the ages of 21 and 35.

  • Sessions are led by one of our affiliated coaches, who have a broad range of experience and expertise, and in-depth understanding of the music industry.

  • Every session is different in terms of its focus, group capacity, coach and participants, and you may only apply for one session at a time.

  • Sessions are free and currently held over Zoom.

It was an inspiring meeting with great ideas for a better understanding of my project which gave me new ways to think when starting my brand and launching a new project, Thank you! - Project coaching attendee

How to apply

To apply, please select the coaching session you would like to attend and complete an enquiry form. You will be asked to provide:

  • A brief outline of your education/career to date

  • In your own words, an issue or question that you would like to explore and think about in the session. Be honest and direct in this brief submission (max 150 words).

We will contact you one week before the session to confirm your place, and with further information. Please note that we have limited capacity for each session to best allow for interaction and reflection. Where needed, we will prioritise attendees whose submissions demonstrate relevant concerns/interests/career stage.
