As their partnership continues, YCAT and New York-based Concert Artists Guild (CAG) are delighted to announce their selection of shared artists for 2023, following their respective audition finals. The chosen artists, Hana Chang and Njioma Chinyere Grevious, both violinists, have now joined the ranks of these prestigious organisations.

Both artists were chosen for their beautiful, genuine musical voice and curiosity of spirit.

With a combined experience spanning over a century in nurturing emerging talent across Europe and North America, YCAT and CAG have a proven track record of developing successful careers. This partnership, which began in 2019, opens up exciting transatlantic performance opportunities for young musicians. It enables them to navigate and connect with cultural markets on both sides of the Atlantic, while providing the necessary resources for long-term career sustainability.

Alasdair Tait, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of YCAT, says:

“We are so excited about welcoming Nijioma to the YCAT family and looking forward to introducing her to audiences both in the UK and across Europe over the coming few years.”

The newly selected artists can expect unparalleled support from both YCAT and CAG. They will benefit from a dedicated artist management team, extensive performance opportunities, and the chance to debut at renowned venues around the world. Additionally, they will receive professional publicity materials, marketing and digital support, all aimed at maximizing their exposure and success on both continents.

Tanya Bannister, President of Concert Artists Guild, adds:

We are so excited to have Hana join the CAG-YCAT family. This collaboration is critically important to give international exposure and real dynamic mentorship to musicians on both sides of the Atlantic. We cannot wait to work with and share Hana’s talent in the Americas.
