Following YCAT’s Final Auditions at Wigmore Hall on 19 May 2022, and Concert Artists Guild’s online finals on 25 May 2022, the two organisations announced their 2022 shared artists. The jointly represented artists are soprano Magdalena Kuzma and clarinettist Jonathan Leibovitz.

When it comes to developing the careers of emerging young artists in Europe and North America, YCAT and Concert Artists Guild (CAG) share more than a century of experience.

Following the success of YCAT artists Jamal Aliyev and Tabea Debus at CAG’s 2019 competition, the two organizations launched a partnership in 2019. This allows them to offer young artists unprecedented new transatlantic performance opportunities, helping these young artists navigate and connect cultural marketplaces on both sides of the Atlantic, whilst also growing the resources available to help them build sustainable careers.

The newly selected shared artists will receive unparalleled support, including a dedicated artist management team, extensive performing opportunities, debuts at some of the world's most prestigious venues, professional publicity materials as well as marketing and digital support, on both sides of the Atlantic.

Alasdair Tait (Chief Executive & Artistic Director, YCAT) comments:

“It is really inspiring to be finally able to bring this new partnership to life, with our first live auditions since launching our partnership in 2019. I am delighted that both Magdalena and Jonathan are now joining our shared roster of artists and we are so looking forward to helping them both develop and grow what I know are going to be truly significant performing careers.”

Tanya Bannister (President, Concert Artists Guild) says:

"I am thrilled that our shared artists have this international opportunity that gives professional career support, concert management and networking on both sides of the Atlantic. Magdalena and Jonathan are unique artists that we know will work together with us to build careers that are musically dynamic and connective to the changing world around them."
