As we prepare to celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we're thrilled to announce the addition of three incredible new musicians to our sought-after roster of young artists.

The rising stars who have secured their place at this exciting time in our history are:

Amiri Harewood, pianist
.

In addition to numerous performance opportunities both in the UK and internationally, these exceptional musicians will appear in presentation recitals at some of the world's most prestigious venues (Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Berlin Konzerthaus to name but a few). Alongside strategic career planning and mentoring, artists receive professional publicity materials and digital support and advice. Most importantly, in becoming part of YCAT’s select family of artists, they gain invaluable visibility and recognition, opening doors and opportunities around the world that are essential in building tomorrow’s future soloists and ensembles.

Director and co-founder of Maestro Arts, Stephen McHolm, Director of the Verbier Academy; Tanya Bannister, President of Concert Artists Guild, NY; and Alasdair Tait, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of YCAT, Alasdair Tait.

Alasdair shares his thoughts as these wonderful artists begin their time on the YCAT roster:

It’s always such an exciting moment as we welcome a new group of artists into the YCAT family. The creative energy and genuine passion these young artists have demonstrated throughout the entire audition process, from the initial video applications, two live audition days in London and Germany and the final performances this week at Wigmore Hall, has been truly inspiring.

We're also delighted that our unique partnership with Concert Artists Guild in the USA, established in 2019, will continue into the next season. The announcement of additional jointly managed artists, chosen from amongst the new cohort of artists from both organisations’ final auditions, will be made on Thursday 23 May.
