On Thursday 11 February one of YCAT's current violinists Mayumi Kanagawa makes her debut at Suntory Hall with the Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra conducted by Kawase Kentaro performing the Beethoven Violin Concerto:

Based in Berlin, of Japanese-American heritage, this year Mayumi also makes her debut with the Yomiuri Nippon, Sapporo Symphony and Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestras. She returns to perform the Britten Concerto with the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra and Mendelssohn Concerto in E minor with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra collaborating with conductors including Kazuhiro Koizumi, James Feddeck and Sebastian Weigle.
