Johannes is currently working for both the Concertgebouworkest and YCAT. Having studied classical saxophone at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, his real passion is chamber music. With the Ebonit Saxophone Quartet, he performed in prestigious venues and festivals including Concertgebouw, Konzerthaus, Musikverein, Verbier Festival and Heidelberger Frühling.

He also holds a master's degree in cultural and media management from the Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg. Before joining the Concertgebouworkest, Johannes worked as Junior Artist Manager at the Künstlersekretariat am Gasteig, looking after musicians such as Lang Lang, Ray Chen and Pietari Inkinen. Johannes especially enjoyed working with up and coming soloists and conductors, such as María Dueñas and Felix Mildenberger.
