With a shared ambition to equip more musicians with the tools to succeed in the 21st century, YCAT and David Taylor are teaming up to bring more resources, insight and advice for musicians to define and build the careers they want. As COVID-19 impacts on the livelihood and future of musicians around the world, the need to adapt has become more crucial than ever. For over 35 years, YCAT has been at the forefront of nurturing young artists, offering strategic management to grow their careers and position them in the industry. David Taylor has built his career on a dynamic and energetic approach to bringing innovation to the arts, leading him to be named on Forbes 30 under 30 Europe 2018 list. He will be a regular contributor and panellist for YCAT’s 21cMusician toolkit and programme of career support. Launching in September 2020, the new season will cover topics including strategic planning, pitching, promotion, photography and funding, alongside 1-to-1 coaching and networking events.
