Delia Stevens is a freelance percussionist based in Manchester and Leeds (she is Senior Classical Percussion and Timpani Lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire and lectures in Reflective Practice).

 2021 saw her launch ConunDrums: a "counter-concert" series embedded in conversation with audiences and experts; the debut concert "AlgoRhythms" explores the impact of big data and tech in our lives, premiering as part of the Sage Gateshead Artist in Residence Programme.

 She also joined the BBC Singers as a Guest Artist for their BBC Prom at the Royal Albert Hall and in December she will accompany Maddy Prior MBE (lead singer of Steeleye Span) and The Carnival Band for their UK-wide tourHer world music collective Kabantu opened the main stage of Shrewsbury Folk Festival in August and look forward to headlining the Manchester Folk Festival in October.

 This Summer she was also delighted to work with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain at the Royal Festival Hall for her debut as their Creative Tutor.
