In an exciting collaboration over the coming months, three YCAT artists will perform as concerto soloists with the London Mozart Players.

Maciej Kulakowski performs the Schumann Cello Concerto on Friday 11 September at St John the Evangelist, Upper Norwood.

Olivier Stankiewicz performs the Strauss Concerto in D major for Oboe and Small Orchestra on Saturday 3 October at the Fairfield Halls.

Jonian Ilias Kadesha performs the Beethoven Violin Concerto on Wednesday 4 November at St John's Smith Square.

These YCAT appearances will form part of LMP's 'Classical Club', a series of eight classical music concerts filmed in unusual or iconic venues in front of a live socially-distanced audience and streamed online (from 24 September).

The concerts are presented in partnership with Scala Radio - a further opportunity to reach new audiences through their live reads, interviews, and exclusive content. Both LMP and Scala Radio share YCAT's core aims: to celebrate the most talented young artists by bringing their music to the widest possible audiences.

Julia Desbruslais, LMP Executive Director:

'We are particularly excited to be partnering with YCAT, giving young aspiring artists a platform at a time when young people are struggling to build a future.’

Jenny Nelson, Programme Manager of Scala Radio:

'We are particularly pleased to be providing a platform for the talented young YCAT soloists as one of Scala’s aims is to
encourage and support the next generation of musicians.'
