On Sunday 6 October, cellist Jamal Aliyev and recorder player, Tabea Debus were successful at the Concert Artist Guild (CAG) Victor Elmaleh Competition at Merkin Concert Hall, New York.

CAG will now represent both artists in North America and build strategic performance opportunities to introduce them to the US audiences including a showcase concert in New York. 

The jury included Hanna Arie-Gaifman (Director, 92nd Street Y), Liz Mahler (Artistic Administrator, Carnegie Hall), Jessica Lustig (Founding Partner & Managing Director, 21C Media Group), Andrea Fessler (Founder & Executive Director, Premiere Performances of Hong Kong), David Frost (recording producer, multi-Grammy Award winner), Rossen Milanov (conductor), Tito Muñoz (conductor), Dana Fonteneau (Professional Development Consultant and Founder, The WholeHearted Musician), Chris Williams (Senior Vice President CAG) and Tanya Bannister (President CAG).
