The London Firebird Orchestra launch their 2024/25 season with a programme of two great classical masterpieces. Beethoven’s mighty Violin Concerto was heralded by Joseph Joachim as the Germans’ greatest. Mozart’s feisty final symphony, Jupiter, never fails to dazzle. The composer Gerber describes it as: ” …overpoweringly great, fiery, artistic, pathetic, sublime…we would already have to perceive Mozart as one of the first geniuses of modern times and the century just past.
