What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is an easy way of keeping up to date with the latest news stories and updates from your favourite website.
How can RSS help me?
Instead of having to visit your favourite website to see if they have written a new news story or article you can use RSS to get the site to tell you when it has been updated.
How does it work?
You will need to install an RSS News Reader on your computer and then select which News Feeds you wish to receive. Its simple to do and you can stop the feeds at any time.
Does it cost anything?
The RSS feeds supplied by YCAT are free and generally the News Readers can be downloaded from the web for free.
