Flautist Adam Walker recently received the Outstanding Young Artist of the Year award at the prestigious MIDEM industry awards in Cannes at the end of January.

As well as being presented with this award, Adam performed Mozart Flute Concerto in front of an international music and recording industry audience in a concert that also included performances by Sabine Meyer, Philip Jarouwski, Christoph Pregardien and a Lifetime Achievement award for Carlo Bergonzi.
